Adeyaka, which in Japanese Means "Fascinating," and that is very accurate. This fascinating Camellia has a heavy bud-set which opens into a small to medium, currant red flowers. The blooms are bell shape like a hibiscus and appear in mid-season. This upright, dense plant with narrow, dark green leaves first bloomed in 1968 and was introduced by Dr. Parks.
