Altheaiflora has a strong, upright, but slightly weeping habit with dark green leaves. The large Carmine red peony flowers appear in midseason. It makes an excellent specimen.

Bright Eyes is an excellent introduction from Dr. Parks and is a strong grower with heavy bud-set. There is a bud at almost every leaf terminal. The small, single flowers are red with an orange cast, and it blooms from early to mid-season.
