April Kiss is a compact, upright plant with a moderate growth rate and a heavy bud set. The small to medium, red-pink, formal double flower appear in the early season and will last through midseason. This wonderful introduction by Dr. Parks is considered by this nursery to be as perfect as a “kiss.”
April Rose is a compact, upright camellia with a heavy bud set. The soft rose-red medium flower appears in midseason and lasts through the late season. Although ‘April Remembered’ has a very hardy bud, it still likes protection in the colder parts of zone 6. Another great introduction from Dr. Parks.
Arctic Rose is an upright, compact grower with medium green leaves. The red, formal double flower appears in mid and last through late season. This hybrid, introduced by Dr. Ackreman, makes a very colorful hedge.
Betty Sette is a medium dense, upright grower with wavy, dark, green foliage. The medium, formal double, deep pink blooms are the ideal size for personal adornment. Dr. Ackerman introduced this beautiful late-season bloomer in 1992, and it is hardy to -10°.
Ruby has the dense semi-dwarf nature of ‘Shi-Shi-Gashira’ but a softer appearance in the landscape. Blooms heavily throughout fall. Small Christmas red, fully double blooms decorate the deep olive green, super glossy foliage on this compact plant.
Sea Foam Is a vigorous upright growing camellia with large, white, formal double flowers appearing late in the season. The beautiful, almost perfect, white flowers and dark green leaves make for a very colorful hedge or Specimen plant.
